Cleo Seger, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Cleo Seger attended Clemson University for 3 years of undergraduate education before taking part in an early acceptance program to the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine. In 2018, she moved to Scotland, where she completed both her first year of vet school and her final year of undergrad abroad. Dr. Seger continued vet school in Glasgow and graduated in June 2023. During her education, she spent extensive time working at a cat clinic close to her former home in southern California and really values fear-free practices. She also had experience working with cattle, horse, and sheep, but found she is more interested in small animals.
Growing up, Dr. Seger had a menagerie of pets, from a rabbit to her brother's ball python, which sparked an interest in exotic medicine (she spent 4 weeks working at an exotics referral clinic in Glasgow). She also grew up with a lovely goldendoodle with allergies, so she spent 2 weeks working at a dermatology referral clinic in Glasgow as well.
Dr. Seger is excited to work at this practice because of the incredible team and facility we have here, and she is looking forward to making lasting relationships with her clients and patients. She raised an orange domestic shorthair during undergrad who has now been stolen by her parents, but he will forever be her cat; our pets are family, and her favorite part of being a vet is being able to keep our furry/feathery/scaley family members happy and healthy.
Currently she has 4 fake plants (Steve the Seventh, Roxanne, Julian, and Olivia) and high hopes of adopting another cat, but she is so happy to live in the area again. She really enjoys trail running, hot yoga, baking (especially croissants), and anything related to sci-fi.
